September 1, 2005 - UV FastCheck™ Strips are used to determine levels of accumulated UV dose via visual inspection of 5 separate color changing zones. Made from same material, UV Intensity Labels operate on same color changing principle but display UV dose accumulation via 1 color changing zone. They measure UV doses from 0 mJ/cm to greater than 5,000 mJ/cm. Strips measure 2 1/8 x in., while labels measure 1 x in.

The New UV FastCheck Strips: Determine Levels of UV Dose with a Simple Visual Inspection!

UV FastCheck™ Strips are simple, reliable, and easy to use indicators of accumulated UV light dosage. They are the first product that can be used to determine levels of UV dose with a simple, visual inspection due to the 5 separate color changing zones.

Made from the same exclusive material, the New UV Intensity Labels (N010-005) have the same color changing principle as the Strips, but they display UV dose accumulation via 1 color changing zone. The New UV Intensity Labels have a sensitivity range that is 5 times greater than the product they have replaced, the old UV Intensity Labels (N010-001). They measure UV doses from 0mJ/cm to greater than 5,000mJ(5J)/cm.

The dramatic improvements over the old Intensity Labels include:

• Much greater color shift

• More stable, repeatable and consistent color change

• Reliable color change enables comparison to a dose chart (N010-003) representing UV dose in millijoules

NOTE: This chart is comprised of actual exposed FastCheck Strips.

• Not subject to increasing color changes at elevated temperatures

FEATURES:

• UV monitoring in difficult-to-access curing environments

• Useful for monitoring UV sterilization lamps (254nm)

• Detect UV lamp degradation and equipment failures

• Ensure even cure in 3D curing chambers or across wide webs

• Evaluate and compare multiple UV light sources

SPECIFICATIONS:

• UV FastCheck Strips are available in packages 200 Strips (10 sheets of 20 Strips)

• UV FastCheck Strips Dimensions: 1/2”H x 2-1/8”W (13mm x 54mm)

• New UV Intensity Labels are available in packages of 990 labels (9 sheets of 110 labels)

• New UV Intensity Labels Dimensions: "H x 1"W (19mm x 25mm).
