RoHS-compliant item No. R05-EXT-DSS extends digital video signals up to 100 ft @ 1,024 x 768 XGA or 50 ft @ 1,600 x 1,200 UXGA resolution for digital signage market. Featuring plug-and-play operation, it does not require software or external power, and each RJ45 jack supports Cat 5 or better UTP cables. Extender kit consists of 2 DVI Female connectors to Cat 5e jacks to be installed at each end of Cat 5 UTP cable run.

New DVI Extender Uses Cat 5 UTP Cable to Extend up to 100 Feet
NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- L-com Global Connectivity has announced that it now offers a UTP DVI Extender for sale on its website www.L-com.com. The extender kit consists of two DVI Female connectors to Cat 5e jacks to be installed at each end of a Cat 5 UTP cable run.
