FlashPoint - A New Generation in USB Flash Drives
Los Angeles, CA, June 10, 2005--- Xmultiple announced the release of three new models to the FlashPoint ShareDrive product line. The new models are the FP01-128, FP01-256 and FP01-512. In addition to the 1 Gigabit and 2 Gigabit models released last month, these models provide lower memory capacity models with 128k, 256k and 512k flash memory chips. The retail suggested pricing is $89 for 128K, $101 for 256k and $132 for the 512k model.
Xmultiple released these new models after feedback from our customers determined there is a demand for lower memory capacity ShareDrives for their requirements. Users needed multiple thumb drives for storage of different types of data and information. Therefore the demand and a need for lower memory capacity USB thumb drives.
So what do most people say they keep on their thumbdrives? Well, recent studies show that the most popular information stored on thumbdrives was tools to repair computer problems. Tools like anti-virus software, security tools, unzip utilities, and anti spyware software. Home thumbdrive use is primarily for backup of important files and for MP3 files. Many users store Adobe pdf files used in their work, school or away from home needs. Webmasters save their most important web pages and their web page descriptions to their thumbdrive.
