Power Without Interruption with the New Noax UPS

More than just hardware
Icons on the IPC screen constantly inform the user about the actual status of the power supply. If the power supply fails and the UPS changes into battery mode, for example, the icon in the system tray will change, giving the IPC user immediate notification. Additional LEDs on the UPS itself also indicate the operational status as well. Even in the case of a battery or connection failure, the UPS software will recognize the problem and shut down the computer after a certain time. This shut down sequence time, as well as several other parameters, can be individually programmed through the software as well, allowing users total freedom in their requirements. The software will also allow the user to change the lead gel battery without impacting the IPC operation, another important feature to guarantee constant IPC operation.
Safety comes first
Safety and reliability were the core concerns in the development of the UPS, and in order to serve these purposes, it incorporates a variety of features to protect both itself and the equipment it is supporting. In the case of a voltage reversal at the input side of the UPS, it will continue operation unaffected, avoiding costly damage and replacement costs. The system also utilizes a fuse that protects against a short circuit at the output side of the UPS. This feature limits the amount of current flowing from the battery to the IPC, preventing catastrophic damage to the IPC. The last line of defense is a built-in protection against unexpected battery discharge, which could lead to total battery failure. The user can also choose the necessary output voltage (12V or 24V) for the noax IPC with a simple switch. Many other features are also available through the software which can be accessed through the IPC. Parameters like shut down procedure timing or automatic data backup are easily configured.

The temperature range for safe operation of the UPS is from -20°C up to +50°C (from -4°F up to +122°F) with humidity up to 90 percent. Due to the fact that there are no moving parts, shock and vibration is also not a problem. These protections are necessary to guarantee constant operation in the harshest environments.
