Designed for 020–.063 in. thick panels and mounting hole diameters of .500–1.093 in., HEYCo-molded™ Liquid Tight Break-Thru Plugs consist of co-molded nylon and elastomer parts. They function as liquid tight plugs with IP 67/68 rating and may also be pierced by round wire, cable, or tubing to function as liquid tight bushings with same resulting IP rating. Locking fingers snap into holes in fractional increments via fingertip pressure and withstand push back force greater than 35 lb.

Heyco Products, Inc., a leading ISO9001:2008 US-based designer and manufacturer of wire protection products and power components, has announced availability of their new HEYCo-molded™ Liquid Tight Break-Thru Plugs.
Designed for use in panels as thin as .020” (0,5 mm) and as thick as .063” (1,6 mm) and mounting hole diameters of .500” (12,7 mm) to 1.093” (27,8 mm), these co-molded nylon and elastomer parts function as Liquid Tight Plugs with an IP 67/68 rating, yet can be pierced by round wire, cable or tubing to function as Liquid Tight Bushings with the same resulting IP 67/68 rating.
Used as a liquid tight bushing, HEYCo-molded™ Liquid Tight Break-Thru Plugs insulate and mechanically protect electrical and telecommunications cable, tubing, hose, rope, and utility lines. When pierced, they function as a liquid tight bushing that converts raw edged holes to smooth, neat, insulated holes.
The plugs have locking fingers that snap into holes in fractional increments with simple fingertip pressure and withstand a push back force of greater than 35 pounds. Constructed of nylon 6/6 and TPE, the Plugs are recognized under the Components Program of Underwriters Laboratories File E15331, Certified by Canadian Standards Association File 8919, have an HB flammability rating, and operating temperature range of -40°F (-40°C) to 212°F (100°C).
