March 19, 2014 - Supplied with installation bracket kit and RS-232 cable, AY-U900 is fully compatible with Rosslare Security access control products. Reader supports multiple protocols and can read multiple tag formats, including AT-T910, ISO18000-6B, and EPC GEN2 (ISO18000-6C). While design facilitates installation and use, dual polarization read mode optimizes read sensitivity. RFID applications, such as transport management, vehicle management, production process control, and access control are supported.

Rosslare Security, a worldwide provider of professional Access Control and Intrusion solutions, announced the release of its new AY-U900 UHF Long-Range Proximity Card Reader to fit a wide range of RFID applications, such as transport management, vehicle management, car parking, production process control, and access control.

The AY-U900 reader is fully compatible with Rosslare Security access control products, providing everything needed for any solution. For example, an AC-225IP panel may be used with two AY-U900 readers to provide entrance and exit monitoring of a parking lot, while AxTraxNG™ software provides all the tools necessary for setting car counters into an access area.

The need for security and surveillance of parking areas is rapidly growing. According to Industry data (marketsandmarkets.com), the global parking management market is estimated to grow from $4.19 billion in 2013 to $7.43 billion by 2018.

The reader is both easy to install and easy to use. It comes with an installation bracket kit and an RS-232 cable. Rosslare’s AY-U900 is compatible with multiple protocols and can read multiple tag formats (Rosslare’s AT-T910, ISO18000-6B Tags, and EPC GEN2 (ISO18000-6C)). Different types of tags are available per requirement for any type of installation.
