Two-Phase Input Power Supplies are Now More Compact

Mechanicsburg, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect Inc. (ASI) has recently upgraded their line of 2-phase input, DIN rail mounted power supplies. The CSW series is now more compact with a width of only 39mm, saving users a considerable amount of DIN rail space. These power supplies have been designed to operate using only 2 legs of a 3-phase circuit, thereby saving space, cabling and circuit protection costs. The CSW series has a universal input of 185-550 Vac in both single and 2-phase. This solution provides the same output power as a 3-phase input power supply, but at a lower cost and taking less space on the DIN rail. High efficiency and low heat dissipation as well as full electronic protection are important performance features .

The CSW series 24 Vdc power supplies are available in 5 and 10 amp. A 8...7 amp, 12...15v adjustable version is available too.

One of the key features of this new family of 2-phase power supplies is the user selectable output protection. The user can easily select hiccup or constant power protection based on the application. Also, all power supplies have both output overload and short circuit protection and are housed in fully enclosed, touch-safe enclosures.
