Fuji's ANS-300TTS Twin Turret Automated Shaft Lathe

ACHIEVES HIGHER EFFICIENCY IN HIGH VOLUME PRODUCTION

Vernon Hills, IL - Featuring 4-axis simultaneous operation, and Fuji's own gantry robot, the ANS-300TTS Twin Turret Automated Shaft Lathe achieves faster cycle times and faster takt for optimal work piece output.

The rigid box way construction of this lathe ensures superior spindle output. Approximately 50% of the process cycle time is reduced by high horsepower spindle and cutting thrust. A honeycomb-constructed column enhances rigidity. Compactly designed, the footprint of the ANS-300TTS is just 5'7" W x 7' D x 9'6" H.

Designed and built by Fuji, a high-speed 2-axis gantry robot enables the standard ANS-300TTS to carry up to two parts of 11 lbs. each. This robot allows for faster and smoother simultaneous multi-axis movement. To access the front, back, left and right of the traverse axis, the ANS-300TTS is equipped with FUJI's Robot Controller Max SP1. A Fanuc 320i-A CNC Control with 5-place decimal positioning control (English), or 4-place metric, is also included.

The ANS-300TTS operates at a maximum spindle speed of 3,500 rpm with a 25hp spindle motor. Featuring a curvic coupling, the turret heads on each slide are capable of heavy radial force developed during cutting. The programmable traveling tailstock features a long stroke of 13.78".

Suitable for machining pinion shafts, turbo charger shafts, input shafts, output shafts, axle shafts, electric motor shafts and more, the ANS-300TTS machines turn diameters up to 7.1" and shaft work up to 11.81" long.

FUJI turns the machining of a part into "Automated Process Perfection." When you contact FUJI, the part you will be machining is analyzed by engineers with vast experience in process and manufacturing engineering. With the largest install base at the major automotive manufacturers, FUJI engineers apply their experience with the FUJI machines that are built for automation from the ground up. These highly accurate machines employ built-in robotic automation, in-process auto gauging for quality control, and are engineered with the finest FUJI custom workholding, all from one source. This allows FUJI engineers to guarantee takt time, cycle time and CPK with turnkey and run-off solutions that are built for lean manufacturing. Using less manpower and more automation, FUJI machines produce the highest quality parts most efficiently and reliably. FUJI solutions are supported by factory-trained engineers 24/7.
