November 12, 2012 - Designed to work with TEGAM 1750 and 1740 resistance measurement instruments, Model 17510A Chip Tweezers enable technicians and inspectors to handle very small resistors and make 4-wire resistance measurements from micro-ohms to mega-ohms without changing probes. Jaws have capacity of 0.5 in. and can handle chip resistors as small as 0201. Tweezers include 5 ft cable and replaceable contact tips.

TEGAM Accessory Improves Handling of SMT Components


Tweezers allow for sorting and resistance measurements without changing probes

GENEVA, OH – TEGAM introduces the Model 17510A Chip Tweezers accessory, designed to work with the TEGAM 1750 and 1740 resistance measurement instruments. They enable technicians and inspectors to easily handle very small resistors and make four-wire resistance measurements.  The tweezers enable accurate one-handed measurements from micro-ohms to mega-ohms without changing probes. 

The jaws have a capacity of 12.7 mm (0.5 in.) and can handle chip resistors as small as 0201 (0603 metric). The tweezers feature a 5-ft. cable and replaceable contact tips.

The U.S. price for the 17510A is $595. They are available now.
