Wasino's Introduces the New J-3 CNC Turning Center
Rolling Meadows, IL (October 11, 2002) - Find big capacity in a small footprint with Wasino's J-3 CNC turning center. It features an 8" chuck, 2" bar capacity and 21.25" swing over bed.
The J-3 is equally effective in both stand-alone situations and when integrated into flexible transfer lines. For efficiency, a pre-engineered gantry loader is used, for loading/unloading, and a broad range of raw material supply devices are available. While featuring exceptionally small footprints, Wasino lathes are precise and powerful.

The J-3's loader features a Fanuc AC servo with vertical and horizontal rapid traverse rates of 3,200 and 4,728 ipm respectively.
The J-3' s spindle speeds reach 4,000 rpm and the spindle motor is 15 hp; X- and Z-axis travels are 5" and 12.6" respectively. The J-3 also includes a 12-station turret. Environmentally friendly, the J-3 separates way oils from coolant.
Applications for Wasino's J-3 general purpose turning center include automotive valve bodies and parts and hydraulic parts.
