Kent, OH . . . . . K-4156 Thermoplastic Rubber Tubing, an extruded silicone replacement compound, is available from Kent Elastomer Products.

Ideal for the food and beverage industry where high temperature stability is not vital, translucent K-4156 meets FDA food grade requirements. Other characteristics of this new thermoplastic tubing include a low coefficient of friction, good vapor and gas permeability, ease of sterilization, and good chemical and weather resistance. K-4156 has a durometer range of 49 plus or minus 5. K-4156 is suitable for use up to 150 degrees F.

In addition, K-4156 offers tight dimensional stability and cleanliness and is free of powder and other contaminates. When requested, Kent Elastomer can color match the tubing to meet any requirement.
