Fluke Introduces New 365 Detachable Jaw True-rms AC/DC Clamp Meter

Detachable jaw makes control panel access and visibility easy

EVERETT, Wash. - Fluke Corporation, the global leader in portable electronic test and measurement technology, has introduced the latest member of its innovative family of clamp meters: the Fluke 365 Detachable Jaw True-rms AC/DC Clamp Meter.

The new Fluke 365 Clamp Meter is designed to make the technician's job easier. It has a thin, small jaw design that makes it easy to get around tightly packed wires. And the current clamp jaw is detachable, making it more convenient than ever to access wires in difficult spaces, while holding the clamp meter body where readings are easy to see.

The detachable clamp capability is especially valuable for technicians working in the tight confines of electrical control panels. In normal situations the jaw remains attached to the meter body, but, when required, it can be removed and clamped to the wire under test. The meter body remains attached to the jaw through a flexible three-foot lead.

The Fluke 365's compact jaw measures current up to 200 A ac and dc while allowing easy access to wires in PLCs and other tight spaces. The Fluke 365 measures up to 600 V ac and dc and provides 6000-Ohm resistance measurement and continuity detection. State-of-the-art signal processing allows for use in noisy electrical environments, while providing stable readings.

The large, back-lighted display automatically shows the correct measurement range, so the user doesn't need to change switch positions while taking a measurement. A built-in flashlight helps illuminate the work location and identify wires.

The compact Fluke 365 fits in the hand and is designed to be easily used by technicians wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). The meter is safety rated for use in IEC/EN 61010-1:2001, CAT III 600 V environments.

The Fluke 365 Detachable Jaw Clamp Meter has a three-year warranty and comes with a soft carrying case. US list price is $248.95.

A New Family of Test Tools

Now one technician can do jobs that used to require two. US list price is $498.95.

  • Fluke 376 True-rms AC/DC Clamp Meter with iFlex-With the new Fluke 376 Clamp Meter, users will be ready for any measurement challenge. Designed for the toughest industrial environments, it measures current up to 2500 A ac and 1000 A dc and can troubleshoot even the noisiest motors and drives. US list price is $374.95.
