RICE LAKE, WI, April 2003-With more steel and more standard features, Rice Lake's SURVIVOR OTR truck scales delivers quality at a economical price. These low-profile, mid-duty truck scales are perfect for above ground or pit applications. An industry-leading 90,000 lb Concentrated Load Capacity (CLC) means the scale will provide consistent, accurate weighments, even under the toughest conditions. The patented G-Force™ load cell suspension design will ensure reliable, legal-for-trade accuracy for years. This self-checking mounting system uses 100% of the gravity force from the loading action against itself—instantaneously returning the scale to dead center without check rods or bumper bolts. Steel deck models are rigidly constructed with 12" main beams that minimize deflection and extend weighbridge life, and have additional heavy-duty support beams under the treadplate deck. Steel deck models go from delivery to operational in the same day. The heavy-duty, self-seating hinge connectors offer easy installation of the pre-assembled modules, and simplify future expansion. Concrete deck models are also available.
