Available in clear or light blue color, AlchromeŽ Tri-Tec coating for aluminum, aluminum alloys, and IVD deposited aluminum can be applied as spray or immersion. Aqueous coating features long-term corrosion protection and low electrical contact impedance and acts as bonding agent for paint and adhesives. Meeting Mil-C-5541 for Class 1 and 3, and ELV and WEEE standards, product is suited for automotive, aircraft, sport vehicle, architectural, and hardware industries.

New Trivalent Conversion Coating for Aluminum
Springfield, MA. May 16, 2006. Heatbath Corp., a manufacturer of a broad line of conversion coatings for ferrous and nonferrous substrates, has introduced an aqueous trivalent chromium conversion coating for aluminum, aluminum alloys, and IVD deposited aluminum.
AlchromeŽ Tri-Tec is a trivalent protective coating with a low electrical contact impedance. It is easy to use. Color range is between clear and light blue. Application is spray or immersion.
Alchrome Tri-Tec produces long-term corrosion protection and is Class 3 per ASTM B449. It is well-suited for aluminum products used in the automotive, aircraft, sport vehicle, architectural and hardware industries.
Alchrome Tri-Tec is an excellent bonding agent for paint (new or repaint) and adhesives. It meets Mil-C-5541 for Class 1 and Class 3, and is RoHS compliant. It also meets the requirements of ELV and WEEE.
