Convaid Launches a New Improved, Lightweight and Compact Folding Metro Stroller for Special Needs Pediatrics and Adults
Convaid launched a new and improved Metro lightweight transport wheelchair. This new Metro wheelchair has a range of innovative safety features; such as red hand-operated safety brakes and sturdy new front caster forks. The Convaid Metro has new wider wheels for increased stability and improved maneuverability on uneven terrain. The rear wheels are also fitted with a quick release mechanism so can be easily removed during transportation or storage.
The new Metro wheelchair's lightweight ergonomic frame provides more support and contoured seating for added comfort and positioning. The stylish new upholstery has a mesh center for increased ventilation to keep the occupant cooler in warm climates. The new Metro wheelchair comes in choice of red or Mediterranean blue cordura fabric. In addition, the redesigned Convaid Metro Stroller has an under seat storage basket, which provides additional storage for added convenience.
The Convaid Metro stroller is available in crash-tested transit models that are WC19 compliant, and provide safe transportation in school busses or vans. This transit wheelchair comes with a three-point safety belt, headrest extension and foot positioners.
