February 24, 2003 - Series B30 Transmitters and B40 Transmitters-Controllers provide measurement and control of differential pressure, absolute pressure, gauge pressure, and saturated steam flow. Non-conductive and conductive liquids at high viscosities can be accommodated. Units feature remote options, rotatable NEMA 4X/6P housing and rotatable smart display, and built-in PID controller. They have Hastelloy-C diaphragms, 316SS wetted parts, and ¼ or ½ in. NPTF process connections.

Transmitters combine built-in common transfer functions, totalizer and process alarm with on-line calibration adjustments
City of Industry, CA (Feb. 15, 2003) -- Barton's B30 Transmitters and B40 Transmitters-Controllers are designed to provide specific measurement and control needs for the measurement of differential pressure (DP), absolute pressure (AP), gauge pressure (GP), and saturated steam flow (B40 only). Nonconductive and conductive liquids at high viscosities can be accommodated. Maximum flexibility is ensured by such features as remote options (HART devices), rotatable NEMA 4X/6P (IP66/68) housing and rotatable smart display, built-in PID controller (B40 only), characterizer, on-line zero adjustment, and seamless integration with process automation systems. Accuracy to ±0.075% of calibrated span, zero stability, no measurable span drift and virtual EMI/RFI/ESD immunity are additional performance and operational enhancements. Transmitters have Hastelloy-C diaphragms, 316SS wetted body parts, and 1/4" or 1/2" NPTF process connections. Flanged units are equipped with ANSI or DIN flanges. For harsh process fluids, tantalum diaphragms can be supplied with DP, AP and GP configurations. Transmitters have FM/CSA/CE approvals.
