TNA Unveils New Washdown tna Roflo® 3 (cw)
Handles Caustic Wash Environment Without Removing Any Parts
SYDNEY, AUSTRAILIA - tna is proud to release the newest member of its revolutionary roflo® 3 transfer and distribution system, the tna roflo® 3 (cw). Previously where the tna roflo® 3 was predominately used in the packaging factories, the tna roflo® 3 (cw) now allows use in the processing section of plants. The fully stainless steel tna roflo® 3 (cw) has an IP67 rating which offers complete washed down functionality without the removal of any parts including guarding or components. This offers maximimum productivity as it will significantly reduce downtime for cleaning, maintenance and changeover.
tna's roflo® 3 (cw) consists of modular conveyor pans that can be easily washed down on site, or with the simple flip of its quick-release system, the pans can be swapped out for quick turnover and washed down off site. With its fully exposed stainless steel IP67 linear motors, the entire system is accessible and resistant to pressure cleaning with caustic and acid solutions.
tna roflo® 3 (cw) motion remains the same as tna roflo® 3 unrivalled in the horizontal conveyor market. On the swift, smooth journey there is virtually NO product breakage. This is achieved through a linear slip motion that slides the product in the desired direction. In order for the product to move forward, the pans move in the desired direction at a relatively slow speed then accelerate backwards at a rate that allows product to slide relative to the pan.
In addition, tna roflo® 3 (cw) meets all the requirements of IP67 with an electrical control module that is mounted remotely from the IP67 cylindrical linear motors. A single IP67 rated cable supplies each motor. Like tna's totally reversible, gateless roflo® 3 the caustic washdown version is also reversible, through software, in a stand-alone application.
