December 4, 2003 - Offered as alternative to cast plug valves, Series JR-33 is available with retractable, fully covered elastomer shoes. Design reduces operating torque and avoids dragging O-ring seal around valve, which would result in seal wear and damage. Valve meets API standards 598 and 614 and features fabricated steel construction and positive, mechanical lockdown device. It is suited for use by design and maintenance engineers as well as plant operators.

HYCOA's Transfer Valves Offer Patented "Zero Leak" Technology

HYCOA (The Hydraulic Company of America), a division of the Clark-Reliance® Corporation, announces their patented Series JR-33 "Zero Leak" transfer valve, developed as an alternative to cast plug valves that are extremely difficult to operate and beset by frequent leakage to the offline vessel. These transfer valves are used in diverse industries worldwide.

The Series JR-33 is the only transfer valve available with retractable, fully - covered elastomer shoes. This superior design reduces operating torque and avoids dragging an O-ring seal around the valve. This is important because any dragging around the valve body bore can cause seal wear and damage.

Fabricated steel construction, extremely low pressure drop, and a positive, patented mechanical lockdown device are just some of the other features that make the JR-33 an ideal choice for design and maintenance engineers as well as plant operators. And, the series JR-33 transfer valve meets API standards 598 and 614.

HYCOA (The Hydraulic Company of America), a division of the Clark-Reliance® Corporation was founded as an engineering and manufacturing arm of Ritter, a large engineering company. HYCOA is well known for its filters and hydraulic systems. The design and patenting of the revolutionary "Zero Leak" transfer valve firmly established HYCOA as a market leader. Clark-Reliance is a multi-divisional corporation consisting of Anderson® Separators, HYCOA, Jacoby-Tarbox®, Jerguson®, Magne-Sonics®, National Fill-ration Systems®, and Reliance®.
