Supplied in aluminum housing, system is rated 800 A, 600 V AC or DC and offered in continuous access or plug-in/shutter design.

Universal Electric Introduces STARLINE B800 Track Busway


PITTSBURGH -- Universal Electric Corp. (UEC), the leader in customizable power distribution systems, has introduced its newest product innovation, the STARLINE B800 Track Busway.

Designed to meet the growing power distribution needs of data centers, the new STARLINE B800 Track Busway gives managers of data centers and mission-critical facilities yet another choice for flexible power distribution.

"Data center power densities continue to rise each year," said Joel Ross, UEC's President. "The addition of the 800 amp size to the STARLINE Track Busway product line is in direct response to the growing power needs of the industry."

Available in customizable lengths, the STARLINE B800 Busway offers ultimate flexibility and two style options; Copper (All copper conductors) and Composite Aluminum (Continuous copper contact surfaces with aluminum busbar). Product features include:

-- 800 AMP/600V AC or DC
-- Continuous access or plug-in/shutter design
-- Aluminum Housing
-- Interchangeable plug-ins with B250 and B400 systems
-- Solution for higher density applications within the data center world
-- Both systems are available in customizable lengths in sizes up to 10ft. or 4 meters.

The new B800 Busway, like all STARLINE Track Busway products, has no complicated mechanisms or levers. It is modular, build-as-you-need, equipped for high-density electrical distribution, and rated to meet and exceed the rigorous reliability demands and thermal requirements of datacenter and mission-critical facilities.
