Vista Towers over Competition with VTC Camera

Vista has released the VTC01, a new tower camera designed specifically to be discretely mounted on a counter-top to provide good quality close-up images that can be used for facial identification.

Both the case and the camera are fully adjustable and can be situated at a height of 43-60cm with 90° panning and 20° tilting ability. This ensures that it can be mounted on almost any height counter and still provide the required results.

The unit comes pre-configured with lens, camera and housing, so is quick and easy to fit and install. The smart yet discreet casing ensures that it will fit into a wide range of environments, making it ideal for use in banks, building societies, hotels, betting shops, jewellers and liquor stores to name just a few.

"The VTC tower camera is a great tool for simply and clearly capturing images for transactional and identification purposes," says Mark Pritchard, Vista's divisional director. "Whilst this has traditionally been carried out with a standard camera with a wide angle lens, the distance from the subject has often led to poor identification."

Vista, the UK's premier brand of CCTV equipment, is head quartered in Reading, UK and focuses exclusively on the development of high quality, functionally rich and competitively positioned CCTV products. Offering an unparalleled product range reflecting the brand's depth of market understanding, Vista products are sold into over 77 countries across 5 continents.
