Featuring 3/8 in. thick forged steel mounting plate and horn base, EHS Series Enhanced Heavy Service Casters offer capacities to 2,400 lb and cover 6 x 2 and 8 x 2 in. wheel sizes. Units combine HPI(TM) Swivel Technology with choice of polyurethane tread wheels. All wheels are equipped with double sealed precision ball bearings or tapered roller bearings, which sustain high speeds. Casters are suited for use on in-plant trailers, towline carts, or AGV systems.

Hamilton, OH, - Hamilton Caster, a leading U.S. manufacturer of industrial casters and wheels, has introduced a caster series that's built for speed and 24/7 operation. The New Enhanced Heavy Service or 'EHS' Caster Series represents Hamilton's latest version of a towable caster that's built to outperform and outlast other towable casters in its class. The EHS Series is well suited for use on in-plant trailers, towline carts, and AGV systems. This new series has a unique feature set of combining Hamilton's new HPI(TM) Swivel Technology with its best in class polyurethane tread wheels. The EHS Series covers the popular 6" x 2" and 8" x 2" wheel sizes.
Hamilton's Precision Integrated (HPI(TM)) Swivel Technology has proven to outperform conventional CNC-machined ball raceways, kingpinless, and unit load bearing swivel constructions. The HPI(TM) raceways are 45% harder than conventional hardened raceways and the surface finish is an incredibly smooth 16 micro inches.
Select from five of Hamilton's world class family of polyurethane tread wheels best suited for your application and environment. All wheels in the series are equipped with double sealed precision ball bearings or tapered roller bearings which sustain high speeds far better than typical straight roller bearings.
The EHS Series is backed by Hamilton's Three Year Product Warranty. Optional accessories such as brakes, swivel locks, and swivel seals are also available.
