Combining touchscreen interface with logic and control, TouchPads include HMIWorks programming development environment that allows users to program in C Language or Ladder Logic. Units offer RS-485 or Ethernet communications and support Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP, respectively. Operating in temperatures from -20 to 70°C, TouchPads are available in 2.8 in. versions that fit in electrical outlets. Applications include lighting control, gas detection, and HVAC systems.

Touch Screen Controllers combine the best of both worlds. They bring you a Touch Screen interface along with logic and control all in one unit. ICP DAS TouchPads come with HMIWorks-a free programming development environment that allows you to program in C Language or Ladder Logic. Many demo programs are available to aid development and help cut down on time to market. TouchPads come with RS-485 or Ethernet communication and support Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP respectively. They are perfect for home and building automation and are available in 2.8" versions that fit in electrical outlets. You can use them as touch screen interfaces for lighting control, gas detection, HVAC systems, restaurant automation and more.
TPD-280 is communicable over RS-485 and Modbus RTU and has a 2'8" TFT full color display. TPD-280U features a real time clock so you can schedule events like heating, cooling or lighting a room up based on time. TPD-283 is communicable over Ethernet and Modbus TCP. TPD-283U features a real time clock for scheduling. TPD-430 has a 4.3" display and RS-485 communication. More Touch Screen PLC's are coming soon. They are designed to survive in harsh environments and can sustain -20ºC to 70ºC operating temperatures. You can use TouchPad Touch Screen PLC's with SCADA software since they communicate over common protocols like Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP which most software supports.
