Powered by 1.6 GHz Intel® Atom(TM) N270 processor, Model LPC-1203 comes with 12.1 in. XGA TFT multifunctional touch panel that supports 1,024 x 768 resolution. Unit features dual Gigabit Ethernet, 1 GB DDR2, and one 200-pin DDR2 SODIMM that supports up to 2 GB DDR2 400/533 SDRAM. Suitable for marine and extreme environment applications, fanless PC operates on +12 V and is waterproof, including front panel, rear data transmission connectors, and power sources.

Avalue's LPC-1203 Touch Panel PC Supports Full IP65 Compliance
Avalue is releasing a new LPC-1203 Touch Panel PC, aimed for marine and extreme environment applications, the LPC-1203 achieves a full IP-65 compliance, that means it can withstand overall splashing conditions, and integrated with a variety of innovative technologies, which take the Avalue's Panel PCs up another notch. This year the product is also honored by the Taiwan Excellence Award 2010.
Intel® Atom(TM)
With low power consumption technology, the LPC-1203 is powered by Intel® Atom(TM) N270 processor which reduces the power using, saves operation costs. The decrease of thermal energy makes the computer a high safety and green product under a fanless condition. At same time, the fanless LPC-1203 has an embedded and unique heat dissipation trench design, enabling system-generated heat to dissipate quickly. Other than quickening heat dissipation, the aluminum chassis also protects the computer when it is used in more humid environments, such as factories or testing labs, ensuring the computer operates reliably and stably.
Full Water and Dust-Proof
The entire computer is water-proof, including front panel, rear data transmission connectors, and power sources etc. The IP-65 safety-certified, thus LPC-1203 is very suitable for use in highly rigorous environments such as the naval force. In particular, the setting of the front side power button which is covered by water-proof membrane for easy use. Furthermore, the computer combines rear side heat-dissipation aluminum case and unique I/O connectors to reach a higher level of water/dust-proof than other Panel PCs, and enhances the convenience and safety for extreme environment applications.
Flexible System Concept
In addition, using the modular system-on-module design concept, the LPC-1203 supports diversified performance levels such as COMe/ETX CPU modules and lower scalable baseboard, also allows user to group the boards according to individual needs. The modular design makes the computer price-competitive for users to choose system requirements freely and upgrade it anytime to extend the product life. Based on an in-depth, flexible concept and diversified I/O deploys design, LPC-1203 fulfills serial port connectivity of industrial control for multi-equipments, thus meeting market demands and broadening product applications.
Up-to-date Technique Panel
The LPC-1203 leverages low refractive touch panel technology, which reduces refraction in between the panels, screen is brighter when used outdoors for easy reading. Besides, Super anti-abrasion design allows touch screen panel to reach hardness of 6.2 - 6.5, prevents scratches and increases durability. When used in industrial control and automated mechanical environments, panel is protected and ensures user safety. The LPC-1203 comes with a 12" touch panel LED backlight screen, which supports resolution up to 1024x768, provides flexible input and tap function to ensure unrestrictive and interactive user experience. Its LED backlight reduces heat generation, thus reducing power consumption and cost, and prolong panel usage lifetime.
Stream-Line Aesthetic Design
4-corner frame with arc design, this sleek design increases aesthetic value to fit industrial and commercial use. The product positioning is to add a human touch on the device. The LPC-1203 passed CE/FCC Class B certifications, low electro-magnetic interference, and safe-to-use as well.
