Consuming 12 W power, FPC-08W series multimedia interactive touch panel PC operates from 10-28 Vdc in temperatures from -10 to +60°C. System is 22.5 x 13.9 x 3.9 cm and includes water and dustproof front panel and 16:9 widescreen with up to 1,024 x 600 pixel resolution. In addition to 5-wire resistive touchpanel, 8.9 in. unit also includes CF card with 512 MB memory, dual Ethernet, 2 sets of COM ports, 2-4 sets of USB 2.0 ports, and 1 set of VGA and mic-in/line-out.

Avalue Introduces Latest Economical Industrial-Level 8.9 Inch Fanless Interactive Touch Panel PC, FPC-08W

Avalue Technology is introducing 8.9 inch multimedia interactive touch panel PC, FPC-08W series. With modularized architecture concept and fanless thermal operation, plus 12W only power consumption rate, and front panel is complied with IP-65 water / dust-proof standard, to achieve today's mainstream like cost-effective, power-saving, and eco-friendly. 16:9 widescreen up to 1024x600 resolution, built-in dual Ethernet and optional WiFi module, and the slimmest x86 based touch terminal with only weight 1.26 kg, the FPC-08W suits in extended applications, such as thin client computers, in-vehicle systems, portable devices, digitalized home and POS / Kiosk terminals.
Cost Saving, Green Technology
Following the modular architecture concept from Avalue bigger screens (over 15 inch) of FPC series, the FPC-08W is embedded with Avalue's 3.5 inch ultra low voltage single board computers (SBC), no noise operation comes from its unique heat dissipation design without a fan, and super slim bezel design reduces the waste of material usages, very easy to maintain and upgrade and that is down cost design concept as well. Adopted AMD LX800 and Intel® Atom(TM) CPU, its green technology makes entire system save power to only 12W.
Multimedia Applications
Avalue's newest FPC-08W delivers the excellent multimedia applications in small size screen. 8.9 inch WSVGA TFT widescreen up to 1024x600 resolution, equipped with 5-wire resistive touch panel to present clear, safe and high accuracy of touch effects. Due to a CF card utilized in place of an internal hard drive used to occupy greater part of system space, its super slim design from bezel and system makes entire size merely 22.5 x 13.9 x 3.9 cm, this compact appearance provides highly portability, and relatively expands application field, i.e. suits an in-vehicle infotainment system. Power-saving CPU technology obtains ideal system performance. Besides, FPC-08W supports dual Ethernet and optional WiFi wireless module, 2 sets of COM ports, 2 to 4 sets of USB 2.0 ports, 1 set of VGA and mic-in / line-out. The FPC-08W is MS Windows operating system based platform, and application is widespread, such as thin client computers, portable devices, digitalized home and POS / Kiosk terminals.
Long-term Life Time
The sober, matt-black iron casing of FPC-08W is suitable for long-term usage and easy to clean. Its front panel sealing is compliant with IP-65 water / dust-proof standard; onboard 512M memory and touch controller bring vibration resistance to increase the stability of product usage. Industrial operation temperature from -10 to +60 degree centigrade, and supporting wide power input 10~28Vdc to meet the requirements of unstable electricity environments like vehicle and navigation.
