Featuring 17 in. SXGA TFT LCD, fanless TPC-1780H is powered by Intel® Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU offers up to 2 Gb RAM. Application flexibility is fostered via one extension slot (RS-422/485, PCI-104, CAN-bus), while multiple standard communication ports - 3 x serial, 2 x GbE LAN, 4 x USB 2.0, 2 x PS/2, and 1 x VGA - promote connectivity with various peripherals. At 93 mm deep, panel PC has die-cast aluminum, NEMA4/IP65 front panel to resist harsh conditions of industrial environments.

Advantech Launches 17" SXGA TFT LCD Touch Panel Computer with 2GB of RAM
(Cincinnati, Ohio - 03/13/09) - The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces the TPC-1780H, a 17" SXGA TFT LCD fanless touch panel PC with an Intel® Core(TM) 2 Duo CPU. The TPC-1780H provides one extension slot, such as RS-422/485, PCI-104, CAN-bus, etc, to provide data bus extension. Also, there are multiple standard communication ports (3 x serial ports, 2 x Gigabit Ethernet LANs, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x PS/2, and 1 x VGA) allowing connectivity with a variety of peripherals. The TPC-1780H supports Microsoft® Windows XP, XP Embedded, CE 5.0, and CE.NET.
The TPC-1780H has an ultra slim design (93mm depth) and a die-cast aluminum NEMA4/IP65 front panel, making it resilient enough to resist the harsh conditions of any industrial environment, especially in SCADA applications or as a HMI display for machine automation.
