Wiha Tools has Introduced a New Line of Screwdrivers
Wiha Tools Monticello, Minnesota USA has introduced a new line of Screwdrivers. TorqueVario-S screwdrivers "the most ergonomic torque limiting screwdrivers available," designed especially for industrial applications. TorqueVario-S ESD was developed for use in anti-static environments and TorqueVario-S VDE provides safety when working with electrical components. All Wiha TorqueVario-S models have an integrated window scale that displays the torque value - a completely new design, which eliminates false readings. The torque value is continuously adjustable by using the provided adjustment tool (TorqueSetter) this prevents the torque from being altered unintentionally. Each tool includes certificate of calibration & meets requirements defined by EN ISO 6798, BS EN 26789 and ASME B 107.14M. All VDE handles and blades are individually tested and provide safety up to 1000 volt ac or 1500 volt dc. The TorqueVario-S VDE series has three models covering torque ranges from 0.8 Nm up to 8.0 Nm.
Torque Vario-S ESD:
Specially designed for applications on electrostatic sensitive components and devices that are able to be damaged by electrostatic fields or discharges. The dissipative handle and blade coating with a surface resistance of 106 - 109 Ohms controls electrostatic energy discharge.
