Torque Adjustment, Alarm Triggering and Corrosion Resistance are Features Unique to Zero-Max H-TLC Torque Limiter Models

Torque Adjustment, Alarm Triggering, and Corrosion Resistance are Features Unique to Zero-Max H-TLC Torque Limiter Models

Plymouth, Minnesota: Zero-Max H-TLC torque limiters have consistent and repeatable disengagement features and can withstand corrosive environments. A special patented feature will trigger alarms or automatic system shutdown the instant overload conditions occur.

The Zero-Max H-TLC torque limiters will operate dependably in wide temperature ranges. They are an excellent substitute for friction type torque limiters, which, in certain applications, can generate heat and thereby alter disengagement characteristics.

The H-TLC torque limiter operates on a patented, spring-loaded convex pin and detent design that reacts to overloads but not to contaminants like soil, dirt and lubrication. It easily withstands the effects of salt, pollutants, mild acids, corrosive moisture of all kinds, and even oily environments. It is effective in temperatures ranging from -40°F to +180°F.

The H-TLC is fully adjustable to handle a range of torque settings should changes be needed in the system. Simply adjust the unit's external compression bolts. The unit also can be set up quickly and easily to trigger alarms or automatic system shutdown by inserting a special actuating disc accessory.

Available in models to handle torque from 4 inch lbs. up to 500 inch lbs., there are six sizes and two models in bore sizes from .250" through 1.000" (7 mm through 25 mm) and are bi-directional.
