Amgis Is Now Offering a New Line of Medical Grade Toroidal Isolation Transformers
Houston, Texas: Amgis has designed and now offers a full line of certified medical grade isolation transformers with power ratings available from 100VA through 5KVA. These transformers can be designed into medical control, monitoring, and circuitry protection applications.
The transformers are certified under UL File E310462 to UL60601-1, CSA C22.2 No. 601 standards, and they are manufactured at the Amgis ISO 9001: 2008 certified manufacturing facilities.
Strict regulations on these transformers include minimum air clearance, maximum patient leakage current, maximum enclosure leakage current, maximum patient auxiliary current, high potential voltage test between windings, minimum creepage distance, limited maximum earth leakage current, and maximum temperature rise at load and at over load.
Amgis also offers many different value added options for these transformers, including custom primary and secondary voltages, variety of connection and harnessing options, custom mounting and enclosures, and custom outer diameter and heights to meet the customer's space restraints.
