J.W. Miller's 2300 Series High Current Toroid Inductors Provide Noise Suppression Solution for Variety of Applications

GARDENA, Calif. - March 31, 2004 - J.W. Miller Magnetics' 2300 Series of High Current Toroid Inductors are designed for high performance noise suppression in a variety of applications. The 2300 Series features a cost-effective, iron powder core that reduces the effect of coupling and virtually eliminates undesirable conductive emissions, making it an ideal choice for high-current applications.

Available in both horizontal and vertical mounting configurations for complete installation versatility, typical applications include DC-DC converters, differential mode chokes, EMI filtering, output chokes, smoothing coils, and power storage for computer and computer peripherals and switch mode power suppliers.

The 2300 measures 1.28" in diameter, 0.65" in width (or height, depending on mounting configuration), and has a 0.5" lead length tinned to within 1/16" of body. Performance characteristics include self-shielding, low core loss, high current capacity and an operating temperature range of -55 to +105°C. Inductance range is 10µH - 1000µH with custom inductance ranges available upon request.

The 2300 Series is priced from $1.90 each in production quantities with delivery in 4-6 weeks.

J.W. Miller offers a full line of high-quality surface-mount and through-hole coils, chokes, inductors and transformers for short run or high volume production requirements and maintains a large inventory of standard components for quick delivery.
