May 22, 2002 - VM modular quick-change tooling packages are designed for use with Mazak Integrex 100Y, 200Y, 200SY, 300Y, and 400Y machine models. Machines are equipped with spindles that accept tooling connection. All tooling is balanced to G2.5 @ 6000 rpm, and through-hardened to Rc 48-52 with ground V-flange.

Valenite Offers New VM Modular Quick-Change Tooling Package For Mazak Integrex Machines With VM Spindle Connections
The VM modular tool connection has been proven worldwide as a fast tool changeover system helping to decrease setup time. Specific tooling packages for milling, turning, boring, grooving, cutoff drilling and tapping are helping users of lathes and turning centers to better organize their tooling requirements.
Valenite is now offering VM modular quick-change tooling packages for Mazak Integrex 100Y, 200Y, 200SY, 300Y and 400Y machine models. The tooling packages are comprehensive in
content, and take advantage of the high precision, lightweight, and compact size features that VM modular tooling provides. The Mazak Integrex machine models are already equipped with spindles that accept the VM tooling connection.
Included in the standard packages are: (10) different sizes of OD turning VM 63 tools, (4) different sizes of grooving and cutoff tools, (9) different end mill adapters, (8) different turning adapters, (4) different ID boring VM63 tools, (5) different boring bar adapters, (3) different shell mill adapters, (8) different collet chuck adapters, (2) different tap adapters, (2) hydraulic chuck adapters, (1) extension and (3) different reducers. Additional tailored packages are also available.
All VM modular tooling is through-hardened to Rc 48-52 with a ground V-flange. The tools are balanced to G2.5 @ 6000 rpm.
Carbide cutting tool inserts are not included in the packages. However, a complete insert recommendation guide is provided that gives application and technical information for the full range of Valenite cutting tool products including the newest SpectraTurn™ and SpectraMill™ chipbreaker geometries and the complete range of available coatings. The tooling packages are available through Valenite's QDT, quick-delivery tooling program.
