Channellock, Inc. Combines Four Essential Tools into One Handy Set: The GS-3T

MEADVILLE, Pa. - Feb. 16, 2007 - Channellock, Inc., has introduced a new tool set - the GS-3T - packing four essential tools into one convenient package. Each set contains three pairs of Channellock's most popular tongue-and-groove pliers - the 426 (6 1/2"), 420® (9 1/2") and 440® (12"). In addition to the pliers, the GS-3T also includes a new product for the company: a 16' professional tape measure.

"The GS-3T is perfect for any tradesman or knowledgeable do-it-yourselfer," said Scott Jonap, Channellock's vice president of sales and marketing. "Whether it's replacing old pliers or making a first plier purchase, the GS-3T will arm the end-user with all the premium-quality tools needed to tackle any job."

New to Channellock is the 16' professional tape measure. Featuring a nylon-coated blade and durable rubber CHANNELLOCK BLUE® impact-absorbing case, the tape measure features a non-slip pause button to firmly hold the blade in place.

Each pair of pliers features high carbon drop-forged steel construction, a PermaLock® fastener that eliminates nut and bolt failure, laser heat-treated jaws for maximum gripping strength and durability, and an undercut tongue-and-groove design that won't slip. Best of all, Channellock's tongue-and-groove pliers are manufactured in the U.S.A.

Founded in 1886, Channellock, Inc. is a worldwide leader in the manufacture of high-quality pliers and assorted hand tools. For more information on CHANNELLOCK® products, rich history, sales contacts and current news, visit CHANNELLOCK at www.channellock.com.
