Available for CAT40 and CAT50 spindles, in ER collet chuck and endmill holder styles, CoolFLEX Tool Holders feature coolant path that can be switched from coolant-thru-spindle to DIN style coolant by removing 2 setscrews. Collet chucks are available in sizes from ER16 to ER40 and are balanced to 18,000 rpm, while endmill holder styles range from ¼-1 ¼ in. ID and are balanced to 10,000 rpm.

Techniks CoolFLEX Tool Holders
CoolFLEX tool holders feature a coolant path that can be switched from coolant-thru-spindle to DIN style coolant simply by removing two setscrews.
According to the manufacturer, this feature can save thousands of dollars when compared to the cost of tooling-up both coolant-thru and DIN coolant spindles.
CoolFLEX holders are available for CAT40 and CAT50 spindles, in ER collet chuck (shown) and endmill holder styles. The collet chucks are available in sizes from ER16 to ER40 and are balanced to 18,000 RPM. The endmill holder styles range from I.D. 1/4" to I.D. 1-1/4" and are balanced to 10,000 RPM.
All CoolFLEX holders are factory set for the coolant-thru-spindle application and can be changed to DIN style by the user. CoolFLEX collet chucks come with Techniks exclusive "Power Coat" nut that increases clamping power on the tool shank up to 75%.
