October 2, 2003 - Available in ANSI B5.50 and DIN 69893 standards, shrink fit V-flange tool holder adapters are designed for use with carbide and HSS cutting tools, are production balanced, and provide coolant-thru center of holder with axial flow adjustment screw. Tapers are ground to ISO-1947 AT3 tolerances. HSK offerings are Form A shrink fit tool holder adapters with shanks that conform to DIN 69893 standards. They offer same features as aforementioned series.

T.M. Smith Tool International Corporation Introduces New Shrink Fit Coolant-Thru V-Flange and HSK Tool Holder Adapters in U.S.A. and DIN Standards
As the market for shrink fit tooling continues to grow, T. M. Smith Tool is responding by increasing their product offering to now include a wider variety of V-flange and HSK tool holder adapters, available in both ANSI B5.50 and DIN 69893 standards.
The new offerings include a complete range of ANSI shrink fit V-flange tool holder adapters in CAT 40 standard and extended lengths; CAT 50 standard and extended lengths and CAT 50 extra-extended length. These tool holders are designed for use with both carbide and HSS cutting tools. They are production balanced and provide coolant-thru the center of the holder with an axial flow adjustment screw. Tapers are ground to ISO-1947 AT3 tolerances. The corresponding DIN standard shrink fit V-flange tool holder adapters are available with both inch and metric bores in CAT 40 and CAT 50 standard lengths with the same features as the ANSI designs.
The new HSK offerings are Form "A" shrink fit tool holder adapters. They are available in ANSI designs that include HSK-32A standard and extended length, HSK-40A standard and extended length, HSK-50A standard and extended length HSK-63A stub, standard and extended length, HSK-100 stub, standard and extended length. The shanks on these tools conform to the DIN 69893 standards. These tool holders are designed for use with both carbide and HSS cutting tools. They are production balanced and provide coolant-thru the center of the holder with an axial flow adjustment screw. The corresponding DIN standard shrink fit tool holder adapters are available in both inch and metric bores in CAT 50A standard length, HSK-63A standard length, HSK-80A standard length and HSK-100A standard length. Optional features for all shrink fit holders include dynamic balancing and special design capability.
