August 10, 2006 - Hot drop-forged from molybdenum alloy steel and heat-treated, 14 in. Tinner Snips are rated to cut 18 gauge cold rolled sheet metal and 22 gauge stainless sheet metal. Model P147CBP features full polish finish and Kush-N-Kote plastisol grips to cushion users hand, while Model 147CBT has burnished finish without plastisol grips and is designed for industrial applications. Both feature 3 7/8 in. length of cut per cutting stroke and can cut wide curves to right and left.

Midwest SnipsŪ Introduces Two Made in USA 14-in. Bent Handle Tinner Snip Models


Sturgis, Michigan, August 1, 2006 -- Midwest Tool and Cutlery Company has introduced two Made in USA 14-in. tinner snip models featuring bent handles which position the users hand safely above the material being cut. Model P147CBP features a full polish finish and Kush-N-Kote plastisol grips to cushion the users hand. Model 147CBT has a burnished finish without plastisol grips and is designed for industrial applications. The two models further expand the Midwest SnipsŪ line of tinner snips, the only full line of Made in USA tinner snips on the market today.

Both 14-in. bent handle tinner snip models are rated to cut 18 gauge cold rolled sheet metal and 22 gauge stainless sheet metal and feature a full 3-7/8 in. length of cut per cutting stroke to facilitate long cuts in a variety of materials. A combination blade pattern cuts wide curves to the right and left. Midwest SnipsŪ tinner snips are hot drop-forged from molybdenum alloy steel and specially heat treated to produce the longest lasting, toughest 14-in. tinner snips on the market today.
