SYCAMORE, IL, November 23, 2001 -IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. is providing electricians, maintenance professionals and manufacturers with a faster, easier and safer way to cut through ductwork, stainless steel and other exotic metals with the
introduction of new IDEAL-brand Aviation Tin Snips featuring black-oxidized chrome-moly steel forged blades for superior strength and durability. The new snips have a labor saving design that meets ANSI and DNI standards.

Available in straight, left and right cutting designs, IDEAL Aviation Tin Snips are distinguished by their scientifically hardened and serrated cutting edges that enable a more stable, safer hold when cutting. The edges prevent slippage to reduce the potential for user injuries from sheared metal edges. To further promote safety, the snips have a secure safety latch with a quick opening/closing design, plus dual-durometer grips that are offer both comfort and a non-slip gripping surface.

IDEAL Aviation Tin Snips are built for long-time service and day-to-day dependability. In addition to the rugged blades, the snips have a high tensile fastener and a double over-wing spring with exceptionally high torsional strength.
