Single timing belts widths range from 40–400 mm, while lengths range from 650–6,000 mm. Available with load ranges from ounces to 500 lb, conveyors utilize DC, AC, Stepper, and servo style motors with speed controls from DC variable to servo drives.

for immediate release
Bloomfield, CT May 18, 2004..mk Automation, Inc. now offers a new ZRF-P 2040.02 standard line of Timing Belt Conveyor Systems designed for accurate product staging and indexing, where the same parts, or a family of similar parts must be accurately positioned for automatic loading of assembly components in automotive, electronic, medical, consumer goods and other high production applications. Single timing belts widths range from 40 mm to 400 mm, with dual or multiple lanes possible to handle wider requirements. Lengths range from 650 mm to 6000 mm, and load ranges from ounces up to 500 pounds. Many of the units include standard welded fixtures to accommodate part holding or orientation. Threaded inserts can be molded into attachment fixtures or can be inserted directly into the belt to accept customer's bolt on fixturing. Custom part specific fixtures can be molded or machined and welded to the belts to meet these special requirements. Standard rectangular cleats and broad range of belt backing materials include nylon and linatex along with v-guided tracking are also available.
Motor selections include DC, AC, Stepper and servo style units, with appropriate speed controls from DC variable to servo drives are offered. Speeds range from fractional second indexes to 200 ft/min. Several different Head Drive models are available, each sized and selected specifically based on speed, load indexing time and fixture space required. Each specific drive version is designed for functionality and optimum motor placement.
These Timing Belt Conveyor systems frames are manufactured using the modular mk 40 series profile system. A variety of stands including height adjustable, pedestal and fixed H style are offered. Each style of stand can be outfitted with floor mounting brackets, casters or leveling pads, all design for high strength and stability. Two side T-slots allow for attachment of many different accessories including side rails, photo eyes, location sensors, bar scanners, labelers, end stops, and diverters.
