September 19, 2005 - Multifunctional EZM-4450 (1/16 DIN), EZM-7750 (1/8 DIN), EZM-4950 (1/8 DIN), and EZM-9950 (¼ DIN) can count up on 1 or 2 channels or subtract one from the other. Equipped with two 6-digit displays and on-board sensor power supply, products accept NPN, PNP, encoder, or dry contact input signals; have 2 set points, and communicate via RS-232 serial communication (MODBUS) or optional RS-485. Time range is programmable from 0.01 sec to 999.99 hr.

Hoyt Announces BROYCE Programmable Timer & Counter


September 6, 2005 "" Hoyt Electrical Instrument Works announces the new Programmable Timer's and Counter's by BROYCE; EZM-4450 1/16 DIN, EZM-7750 1/8 DIN, EZM-4950 1/8 DIN, and EZM-9950 1/4 DIN. With the ability to count up on 1 channel or 2, or subtract one from the other, you get versatility beyond compare! All four sizes feature two 6 digit displays (actual count and one of the two set points), Two set points, Reset/pause and ChA-ChB counter inputs, Input signals from NPN, PNP, Encoder or Dry contact, Programmable counter/Totalizer Counter, Batch counter, Timer, Chronometer, Frequencymeter, and Tachometer functions, Programmable time range from 0.01 second to 999.99 hours, Automatic and Manual resets, Coefficient and decimal point position to precisely scale input (e.g. Feet/min, gal/hr etc.), Programmable alarm functions, Password protection and On-board sensor power supply. For counting functions you can select INC, DEC, INC/INC, INC/DEC, and UP/DOWN. You can also select Standard RS-232 serial communication (MODBUS) or optional RS-485.

The new BROYCE EZM series multifunctional counters can be used in package machine, production and quality control rollers; in cutting and processing machine of glass, plastic, marble, sheet, iron, fabric. They can also be used for all measuring and controlling of dimension count, total count, speed, tach, productivity, and time. They can easily be adapted to all mechanical construction and automation systems.
