Latter is available plain or with molded eyelets/strap loops for fitting accessory key ring, wrist strap, or lanyards. EDGE models have standard footprint of 3.07 x 1.89 in. and profiles of 0.78, 0.94, or 1.02 in. Heights provide internal space for PCB, miniature keypad, or other components.

Extended Range of Enclosures for Personal Electronics
Following customer demand, OKW have extended their award winning 'MINITEC' range of pocket-size enclosures. These highly attractive multi-colored housings have been designed for personal electronic devices which can be carried in the hand, on a key ring, wrist strap, or lanyard.
Typical applications include medical devices, personal safety, detection, monitoring, emergency call, audio, alarm, and remote control electronics.
The 'MINITEC' range consists of two basic designs: 'EDGE' - rectangular style cases and 'DROP' - droplet style cases. The EDGE models are now available in three larger sizes: length 3.07", width 1.89" and heights of, 0.78", 0.94" & 1.02". The extra heights provide additional internal space for the PCB, miniature keypad or other components.
When taking into account the new sizes, and all the different styles, formats and color options, over 200 individual 'MINITEC' enclosures can be configured by the electronics designer.
The range now consists of eight individual cases sizes with dimensions ranging from 2.00" x 1.25" x 0.51" to 3.30" x 2.08" x 0.75".
Each case consists of a top part, base part and a soft intermediate ring. The top and base parts are molded in off-white or lava gray ABS, or black infra-red transparent PMMA (UL 94 HB). The intermediate rings are molded in soft touch TPE in four standard colors: volcano gray, orange, lime green and bright blue.
The intermediate rings are available plain, or with molded eyelets or strap loops for fitting the accessory key ring, wrist strap or lanyards.
The recessed top part is designed for locating a membrane keypad or product label. The 'EDGE' style is also offered with a smooth top for fitting rubber keypads etc.
Location bosses are molded in the base parts for mounting PCBs and components, and the cases are assembled using a single self-tapping fixing screw.

OKW can supply the 'MINITEC' enclosures machined with holes for keypads, connectors, LEDs etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos, and RFI/EMI shielding.
