Malvern, Pa. - SEMI-GAS® Systems, a division of Applied Energy Systems, Inc, and a manufacturer of industry-leading ultra-high purity gas source and distribution systems, offers a three cylinder, fully automatic Centurion(TM) gas cabinet that safely stores and handles hazardous, ultra-high purity process gases.
Engineered to conform to Semi S2 and the International Fire Code, the durable cabinet is ideal for use in semiconductor and solar cell production, as well as for research applications at universities and government laboratories.
The unit performs both purging and cylinder switch-over automatically to enable 24/7 operation, ensure operator safety during cylinder changes, and extend the lifetime of the gas cabinet.
The intuitive operating system and ergonomically-positioned color touch screen guarantees easy human-system interaction. System conditions are continuously monitored and recorded on a detailed alarm log.
The 86" tall x 40" wide x 23" deep enclosure is constructed of welded 11 Ga steel and features a self-closing, self-latching door as well as a 1/4" thick safely glass window with a polycarbonate face shield and an integrated UL-approved fire sprinkler. The fluid components are ultra-high purity construction with a 10 Ra maximum surface finish.
SEMI-GAS gas cabinets are engineered to be flexible, with many features and options available in the mechanical, electrical and enclosure design, as well as special features tailored to precisely meet customer needs.
