Bridgeport Fittings Introduces TL Series Threadless Grounding Bushings

Grounds and bonds unthreaded Rigid/IMC conduit to enclosures

STRATFORD, Conn. — Bridgeport Fittings announces the new insulated TL Series Threadless Grounding Bushings for grounding and bonding unthreaded Rigid/IMC conduit to enclosures or equipment. The bushings’ plastic liner protects insulated conductors from abrasion during pulling or due to mechanical vibration.

The new bushings, made of a malleable iron, zinc-plated body, are designed with a tin-plated lay-in lug that allows for easy installation and alignment of AL/CU conductors where the raceway is required to be grounded.

The Bridgeport bushings are available in sizes ½-inch through 4-inches with multiple lug options. They meet the requirements of NEC Article 250.92 for bonding of equipment services and NEC 250.97 for circuits rated over 250V, and are cULus Listed.
