Hexagon Socket Threaded Pipe Plugs are fashioned from zinc-plated steel with yellow passivated finish and are ultrasonically checked. With max heat resistance of 250°F, NBR synthetic rubber seal is retained in radial undercut in mating face, preventing it from dropping out or protruding when plug is tightened. Plugs are available in metric pipe thread and BSPP parallel threads.

J.W. Winco Offers Hexagon Socket Threaded Pipe Plugs with Synthetic Rubber Seal
NEW BERLIN, WI - J.W. Winco, Inc., a leading supplier of standard industrial machine components, announced it now offers Hexagon Socket Threaded Pipe Plugs with NBR Synthetic Rubber Seal.
These pipe plugs are fashioned from zinc-plated steel with a yellow passivated finish and are ultrasonically checked. The seal is of NBR synthetic rubber with a maximum heat resistance of 120 degrees C (250 degrees F). The seal is retained in a radial undercut in the mating face, preventing it from dropping out or from protruding when the plug is tightened.
This design allows the seal to be made of a softer material, which offers better sealing. Plugs are available in metric pipe thread and BSPP parallel threads.
