Suited for use in automatic toolchanging machining centers, TVU-IR resides in CNC's toolchanger and is automatically deployed like any other tool. It checks for presence, size, and depth of internal/external threads, and following inspection, battery-powered unit sends pass/fail infrared signal to standard receiving unit. Available in 3 sizes, unit is capable of GO gaging, NO GO gaging, and combination gaging. Cycle time starts at .7 sec.

TVU-IR Thread Verification Unit Developed by New Vista Corporation
Baltimore, MD - New Vista Corporation has developed a Thread Verification Unit for use in automatic toolchanging machining centers. The TVU-IR resides in a CNC's toolchanger, and is automatically deployed like any other tool. The TVU-IR automatically checks for the presence, size, and depth of internal or external threads. Following inspection, the battery-powered unit sends a "pass" or "fail" infrared signal to a standard receiving unit.
The TVU-IR is capable of GO gaging, NO GO gaging, and combination gaging. Three sizes will inspect threads from 3mm to 50mm (#4 to 2"). Cycle times start at .7 seconds. See more information about the TVU-IR at http://www.newvistacorp.com/tvu_ir.htm
