March 14, 2005 - Offered in T120F, T160F, T220F and T350F models, Tangential Thread Rolling Heads set up with no roll timing and feature 10 min thread roll changeout. Symmetrical roller repositioning is performed with central setting screw, away from rolling system. Accommodating thread diameters from 5/64β2 in., products allow for adjustment from coarse to fine and extra fine pitch threads. Heads feature carbide shafts and can also thread 1/16β1 in. dia NPT and NPTF pipe sizes.

LMT-Fette's New Tangential Thread Rolling Head's Pre-Syncronized Design Eliminates Roll Timing
Cleveland, OH - (February 23, 2005) LMT-Fette Tangential Thread Rolling Heads come pre-synchronized for efficient set-up with no roll timing. Because symmetrical roller repositioning is performed with a central setting screw, and away from the rolling system, operators can expect a staggering 75% reduction in set-up time. The short 10 minute setup time applies to the initial setup and any time the thread rolls are changed out.
For improved versatility, LMT-Fette has decreased the length of their rolling heads by 20%. This engineering move makes their Tangential Thread Rolling Head suitable for use in CNC lathes, as well as screw machines. And, available in T120F, T160F, T220F and T350F models, the Tangential Thread Rolling Head can accommodate thread diameters ranging from 5/64" β 2". All models allow for easy adjustment from coarse to fine and now extra fine pitch threads. Tangential Thread Rolling Heads are also capable of threading 1/16" β 1" diameter NPT and NPTF pipe sizes.
