Comprised of servomotor, servodrive, and motion programming, all-electric Thread Chasing Unit can clear weld spatter, chips, paint, or burrs from internal or external threads in production parts. Forward torque is adjustable up to 10 lb-ft and reverse torque is 20 lb-ft to assure tool will not stick in threads. Three sizes are available to chase threads from 3-50 mm.

New Thread Chasing Units Clean Out Existing Threads
Baltimore, MD- New Vista Corporation has developed Thread Chasing Units for cleaning out existing internal or external threads in production parts. The all-electric unit, which includes a servomotor, servodrive, and motion programming, can clear weld spatter, chips, paint, or burrs. Forward torque is adjustable up to 10 ft/lbs. Reverse torque is 20 ft/lbs to assure tool won't stick in threads. The Unit is designed to never cut a new thread. Three sizes will chase threads from 3mm to 50mm (#4 to 2").
This product is a complement to New Vista's lower-torque Thread Verification Unit product line.
