Operating in temperatures from -55 to +125°C, PLT series precision thin film resistors are made of corrosion-resistant, stable film and offer performance characteristics of 500 ppm at +70°C for 10,000 hr. They are available in 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes, with resistance range from 250 W to 100 kW. Noise rating is less than -30 dB, voltage coefficients are 0.1 ppm/V, and power ratings are from 150-400 mW at +70°C. Units are available with lead-free or lead terminations.

Vishay's New PLT Series of Precision Low-TCR Thin Film Resistors Offers TCR of ±5 ppm/°C and Tolerances to ±0.02 % in Three Case Sizes
MALVERN, Pa. - August 5, 2009 - Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today introduced the new PLT series of precision low-TCR thin film resistors. The devices feature a low standard TCR of ± 5 ppm/°C and tolerances down to ±0.02% over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
With stable film and performance characteristics of 500 ppm at + 70 °C for 10,000 hours, the devices released today are optimized for high-precision applications in industrial, telecommunications, medical imaging, test and measurement, and military and aerospace equipment and instrumentation.
Offered in 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes, the PLT series offers a resistance range from 250 W to 100 kW, with non-standard values available. The resistors features very low noise of < -30 dB, low voltage coefficients of 0.1 ppm/V, and power ratings from 150 mW to 400 mW at + 70°C.
The PLT devices feature an anti-corrosion resistant film with special passivation method (SPM) enhancement. Available with lead (Pb)-free or lead terminations, the resistors are compliant with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and flame-resistant in accordance to UL 94 V-0.
