TT Electronics IRC's 0402 Precision Thin Film Chip Resistors Meet MIL-PRF-55342 Specifications
Precision resistors ideal for use in military and aerospace systems, avionics equipment...
Corpus Christi, TX: Providing design engineers with a complete range of high
reliability, precision chip resistors, TT electronics IRC has expanded its family of military-qualified thin film chip resistors. The PFC Series precision chip resistors now include a 0402 package size qualified to MIL-PRF-55342 specifications.
"The 0402 military-qualified chip resistors complement our proven line of 0603, 0705, 1505 and 1206 PFC Series military-qualified precision thin film resistors," said Dr. Debasis Roy, director of TT electronics IRC's thin film business unit. "With the qualification of the 0402 package size, we are now able to offer our customers a complete line of MIL-PRF-55342-specified resistors to meet any size needs in a variety of military and aerospace applications."
The PFC Series thin film precision chip resistors meet all E, H, K and M MIL-PRF-55342
characteristics. The PFC Series resistors are constructed using IRC's patented ultra stable Tantalum Nitride (TaNFilm(TM)) thin film resistive element for proven long life and high stability in harsh environments. The 0402 chip resistors are ideal for use in military and aerospace systems, weapon systems, and aircraft and communication equipment.
Resistance for the PFC Series thin film resistors ranges from 10W to 125KW. Power ratings are to 100mW, 150mW and 250mW, with voltage ratings of 50V, 100V and 125V, depending on package size. Tolerances are to ±0.1%, ±1%, ±2%, ±5% and ±10%. The PFC Series thin film chip resistors are qualified to C, M, P, R, S and T reliability levels.
