Available in 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes, TNPU e3 series high-precision thin film flat chip resistors offer TCR values down to ±5 ppm/K across -55 to +125°C temperature range. Standard resistance values range from 100 W to 511 kW. Units include maximized moisture sensitivity and are suited for use in harsh environmental conditions. They are RoHS-compliant and have pure tin plating that withstands lead-free and lead-containing soldering processes.

Vishay's New High-Precision Flat Chip Resistors in Thin Film Technology Feature Tolerances Down to ±0.05% and TCR as Low as ±5 ppm/K in 0603, 0805, and 1206 Case Sizes
MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA - Sept. 23, 2009 - Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced the release of the new TNPU e3 series of high-precision thin film flat chip resistors in 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes.
Vishay's new TNPU e3 thin film flat chip resistors combine the proven reliability of TNPW e3 products with an advanced level of precision. This unique combination makes the devices perfectly suited for applications such as amplifiers, precision voltage dividers, and control units in industrial, automotive, aerospace, medical, and telecommunications equipment.
With excellent moisture resistivity, the devices provide extremely stable and reliable operation, even under harsh environmental conditions. The resistors feature tolerances as low as ± 0.05 % and TCR values down to ± 5 ppm/K across a temperature range of - 55 °C to + 125 °C. Standard resistance values range from 100 W to 511 kW.
The TNPU e3 series devices are suitable for processing on automatic SMD assembly systems and for automatic soldering using wave, reflow, or vapour phase. The resistors are RoHS-compliant, and their pure tin plating provides compatibility with lead (Pb)-free and lead (Pb)-containing soldering processes.
Samples and production quantities of the TNPU e3 resistors are available now, with typical lead times of eight weeks for larger orders.
