May 29, 2008 - Designed for applications requiring low resistance, LCI Series current sensing surface mount chip resistors come in case sizes 0402 through 2512. Standard value range is from 0.003-1 W with tolerances to 1%. Resistors are power rated to 3 W at 70°C ambient air temperature in 1225 case size. RoHS compliant units are suited for power management applications, over current protection, voltage regulation modules, and engine control and battery circuits.

IMS Introduces New LCI Series Thin Film Current Sensing Surface Mount Chip Resistors

Portsmouth, Rhode Island, USA - International Manufacturing Services, Inc. (IMS) introduces the LCI Series thin film surface mount current sensing chip resistors. The LCI Series is a simple and cost effective solution for applications requiring extremely low resistance. LCI Series resistors feature nickel barrier terminals and are available in case sizes 0402 through 2512. The standard value range for the LCI Series is from 0.003 ohm to 1 ohm with tolerances to 1%. These resistors are power rated to 3W at 70 deg. C ambient air temperature in 1225 case size. The LCI Series is RoHS compliant and is ideal for power management applications, over current protection, voltage regulation modules, and engine control and battery circuits.
