Supplied in 0805, 1206, and 2512 package sizes, HVC Series includes 23 models with resistance values from 100 kW to 100 GW, standard TCR of 100 ppm, and standard tolerance of 5%. Voltage coefficients range from 10-100, depending on resistance value. Operating from -55 to +155°C, wrap around terminal chip resistors have matte tin contact with nickel barriers. Units do not contain organic compounds, making them suitable for vacuum applications.

New Ohmite Chip Resistor Can Handle 3000V
Arlington Heights, IL -Available with voltage ratings up to 3Kv and resistance values from 100k up to 100Gohms, the new Ohmite HVC Series of wrap around terminal chip resistors have a standard TCR of 100ppm and standard tolerances of 5%, although tolerances as low as 0.50% can be achieved. Voltage coefficients range from as low as 10 and up to 100 depending on resistance value.
Supplied in 0805, 1206, and 2512 package sizes, the range comprises 23 stock part numbers. Launched in response to high voltage resistor demands driven by renewable energy, military and medical electronics, the HVC is suitable for vacuum applications as they do not contain any organic compounds.
The thick film resistors have an operating temperature range of -55°C to +155°C and the matte tin contact with a nickel barrier is designed for extended shelf life so the product is suitable for inventory support. Parts are delivered in convenient 500 piece reels. Pricing ranges from $0.60-$0.90 in values up 100 meg at 5% tolerance. Consult factory for higher resistance values and tighter tolerances.
