July 25, 2008 - Available in 6 standard sizes, IAX Series surface mountable thick film attenuators feature ±0.2 dB attenuation accuracy and standard attenuation values of 0-70 dB in 0.5 dB increments. Suited for RF and microwave applications and rated to 15 W in 3725 size, they offer nominal impedance of 50 W. Platinum Silver terminations are available in both WA and SG styles for solder or epoxy attachment.

IMS Announces Availability of High Frequency Thick Film Attenuators to 40 GHz

Portsmouth, Rhode Island, USA - International Manufacturing Services, Inc. (IMS), a leading manufacturer of thick film resistors, attenuators, terminations, planar dividers and planar filters, is pleased to announce the availability of their IAX Series surface mountable Thick Film Attenuators. These devices are now available in six (6) standard sizes and have been characterized to exhibit favorable frequency response to 40GHz. The IAX Series is especially suited to RF and microwave applications and are rated to 15W in a 3725 size. IAX Series' attenuation accuracy starts at ±0.2dB and standard attenuation values are 0dB to 70dB including 0.5dB increments. Platinum Silver terminations are available in both WA and SG styles for solder or epoxy attachment. Nominal impedance is 50 ohms.
